Project Outcome:
The eBiz Review project concluded in December 2011 allowing the Development and Deployment phases to recommence. The objectives of the review included to determine how to resolve two key architectural problem areas, resolve pain points for business areas already deployed, enhance the existing solution for planned deployments with a key focus on cross-functional areas, and investigate the potential benefits of additional functionality. The Review aligned to the end-to-end business areas within the Business Process Architecture to provide the framework for requirements gathering and gap/fit analysis to the current solution. The outcome of the product review of Maximo versus Oracle in the Asset Maintenance functional area was also presented to allow the strategic direction to be determined. The Review phase of the eBiz project represented a $10m investment.
